Put Your Trust in God!

God’s word tells us in Jeremiah 17:7-8 (KJV): “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.”

When you put your trust in God, He will bless you. If we put our roots in God, like the trees planted by the water, whose roots spread deep into the water, we will not suffer when things get tough. God will give us strength and make our lives flourish just as the tree planted by the water will always have green leaves. He says we do not have to worry when things around us are bad like a year of drought can bring to our environment around us. God says we will never stop yielding fruit! What does this mean? We aren’t fruit trees! But remember, our roots are planted solid in God, and with God all things are possible.

When God tells us we will bear fruit, he explains in Colossians 1:6 (NLT), which says, This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace.”

Put your trust in God. Don’t worry if things appear to be impossible. Tell everyone about God. When you plant the seeds of hope from God, the tree will bear fruit.
